Public discussion between Marisa Godoy, choreografer based in Zurich and Richard Wherlock, Director of Ballet Basel. Starting point of this dialogue will be a selection of film documents by artists from Zurich, recorded in the 80ties. By means of discussing the material we will look at dance from a classical as well as a contemporary perspective.

Dr. Julia Wehren, Dance Theorist, will give an input about the history and the diverse esthetical developments of contemporary dance.
